More than 77 national and international companies, including 48 industries grouped within the Tunisian Aeronautical and Space Industries Group (GITAS). GITAS mission is to promote exchanges, collaboration and synergies between companies in the aeronautics and space sector settled in Tunisia.
MECAHERS AEROSPACE Company was created in 2010 in Soliman - Nabeul then relocated to El Mghira on a site of 10,400 m² including 5,400 m² covered surface. The company, specializing in the production of sub-assemblies, assemblies and boiler parts for the aeronautics sector, employs to date more than 300 employees With STELIA as its main customer, the Company manufactures parts for the AIRBUS A320, A330 and A350 aircrafts. The Company recorded an average growth of 30% between 2012 and 2015.
Founded in Tunisia in 2003, in Soliman in the governorate of Nabeul, Zodiac Company has considerably grown with several diversification axes and the creation of 4 sites: Zodiac automotive, Zodiac equipment, Zodiac seats and Zodiac composites monuments The company employs more than 3,500 employees Zodiac Tunisia has set up one of the group's largest regional research and development centres.
STELIA Aerospace Tunisia is located in the city of M'Ghira (south of Tunis) and covers approximately 15,000 m2 The Company, specializing in the assembly of sub-assemblies, has grouped, within a fleet of 20 hectares, 6 partners, creating thus a unique aeronautical fleet in Africa The Company, considered as the main world producer of the front part of Airbus A320, is constantly growing, owing, in particular, to the rise of A320, NEO and CEO aircraft industry.
Avionav Company, created in 2014, is the first Tunisian manufacturer of two-seater planes intended for export in compliance with international standards. In 2016, the Company exported 38 planes to more than 10 different countries (Tunisia, Jordan, Brazil, Italy, Germany…), realizing, thus, a profit close to one million dinars The company went from 5 engineers at the time of its creation to more than 40 engineers and technicians Since then, the owners of AVIONAV have created "EVADA" an R&D centre for light aviation, unique in North Africa.
